A cross-country drug trafficking operation involving kilogram quantities of cocaine has been busted, with five men indicted for their roles in the conspiracy. The operation, which spanned from Maryland to California, involved a plot to rob a narcotics supplier. The indicted individuals, including Tyler Michael Watson, Akop Akop Terzian, Nathan Andrew Jackson, Dominick Terrell Johnson, and Gary Bailey Jr., are accused of conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances, as well as conspiring to interfere with commerce by robbery.

The conspiracy, which took place from March 2023 to May 2025, involved the co-conspirators traveling from Maryland to California to purchase controlled substances from Terzian, who would then ship the narcotics back to Maryland for distribution. Additionally, in July 2024, the co-conspirators conspired with Terzian to steal narcotics from a California source of supply, using a firearm obtained from Terzian to hold the supplier at gunpoint.

The investigation was led by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland, in partnership with Homeland Security Investigations and the Anne Arundel County Police Department. The indictment highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to disrupt and dismantle cross-country drug trafficking operations.
