A Tucson man has been sentenced to 33 months in prison for the sexual abuse of a minor.
Eric Christopher Segundo-Antone, 22, was sentenced by United States District Judge John C. Hinderaker on September 27, 2022, for the crime.
According to court documents, sometime between June 1, 2018, and December 31, 2018, Segundo-Antone engaged in a sexual act with a 14-year-old victim on the Tohono O’odham Indian Reservation in the village of Topawa.
The offense was investigated by the Tohono O’odham Nation Police Department and the FBI, with Assistant U.S. Attorney Frances M. Kreamer Hope handling the prosecution.
Segundo-Antone is an enrolled member of the Tohono O’odham Nation and has been sentenced to a lifetime of supervised release following his 33 months in prison.
The case, CR-21-00796-TUC-JCH-BGM, is being handled by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Arizona, Tucson.
