A 26-year-old Leupp man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for Abusive Sexual Contact of a Child.
Brian James Tsinnijinnie, who is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Steven P. Logan on February 10, 2022.
According to court documents, Tsinnijinnie sexually abused the minor victim while on the Navajo Nation in 2019.
After serving his term in federal prison, Tsinnijinnie will be placed on supervised release for the rest of his life. The FBI and the Navajo Nation Division of Public Safety conducted the investigation in this case.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Jason Crowley handled the prosecution.
