SCRANTON- Darious Felder, 34, of Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, has been indicted by a federal grand jury for drug trafficking offenses. The indictment claims that from January to April 2025, Felder conspired with others to distribute methamphetamine in Luzerne County. On three occasions, Felder is accused of distributing over 50 grams of the substance.
Acting United States Attorney John C. Gurganus heads this case, which is being investigated by the FBI, Shenandoah Police Department, and Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office. Assistant U.S. Attorney James M. Buchanan is handling the prosecution.
The operation against Felder is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide effort to combat illegal immigration, dismantle cartels, and protect communities from violent crime. The initiative involves resources from OCDETFs and PSN.
Under federal law, Felder faces up to 40 years in prison, supervised release, and fines if convicted. Indictments are merely allegations, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Felder’s charges highlight the ongoing battle against drug trafficking across the nation, as authorities work tirelessly to keep communities safe.
