Jordan Lee Davis, a 36-year-old felon from Port Neches, Texas, was caught with a loaded revolver on January 1, 2025, during a police investigation into a possible assault at his residence. As a previously convicted felon in Jefferson County, Davis is prohibited from owning or possessing firearms. The incident led to his arrest and subsequent guilty plea for being a felon in possession of a firearm. On June 22, 2026, Davis was sentenced to 46 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Michael Truncale.
