⏱ 2 min read

Three men from Georgia have been sentenced to prison for firearms and drug-related crimes in separate cases. Eric Lowe, 45, of Dublin, was found with a Taurus .38 caliber pistol and methamphetamine during a traffic stop in February 2023. Tykez Elijahwun Davis, 30, also of Dublin, was caught with a Rossi .357 caliber pistol in August 2024. Corrie Devon Eady, 32, of Savannah, was found with a stolen Ruger .380 caliber pistol during a traffic stop in June 2025.

The sentences were handed down in U.S. District Court, with Lowe receiving 96 months in prison and a $1,500 fine, Davis getting 15 months in prison and a $1,500 fine, and Eady receiving 12 months in prison. All three pleaded guilty to Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, with Lowe also pleading guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine.

The cases were investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Savannah Police Department, and the Dublin Police Department. U.S. Attorney Margaret E. “Meg” Heap announced the sentences, warning that illegally possessed firearms can lead to extended prison terms.

The sentences reflect the seriousness with which law enforcement and the courts take firearms crimes, particularly when committed by previously convicted felons. Under federal law, it is prohibited for such individuals to possess firearms or ammunition.
