Fentanyl Dealer Sentenced: 21-Year-Old Milligan Faces 33 Months for 1,000 Pill Sale
In a harsh blow to the streets of Louisiana, a 21-year-old fentanyl dealer has been sentenced to 33 months in federal prison for selling 1,000 deadly pills to an undercover agent.
Alskiin Milligan, 21, of Madisonville, La., pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 40 grams or more of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of fentanyl, a Schedule II controlled substance.
According to court documents, Milligan conspired with others to sell fentanyl in the Eastern District of Louisiana. The investigation revealed that on September 15, 2023, Milligan sold 1,000 fentanyl pills to an undercover agent in Mandeville, Louisiana.
The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Department. Assistant United States Attorney Rachal Cassagne of the Narcotics Unit oversaw the prosecution.
Milligan’s sentence includes 33 months imprisonment, three years of supervised release, and a mandatory special assessment fee of $200.00.
