A 33-year-old Pensacola woman is accused of swindling $1 million in Paycheck Protection Program funds, allegedly submitting fake loan applications to the Small Business Administration.
Dominique J. Stanberry, 33, was indicted by a federal grand jury on two counts of wire fraud in connection with the scheme.
According to investigators, Stanberry submitted fake applications for PPP loans, claiming to represent struggling businesses in need of financial assistance. In reality, she used the funds for her own gain.
Stanberry faces up to 20 years in prison on each count if convicted. She’s scheduled to stand trial on May 18, 2026.
