Freddy Felix Pleads Guilty to Cocaine Violations in Pennsylvania

A California man has admitted to violating federal narcotics laws in a Pennsylvania court.

Freddy Felix, 32, of Coachella, California, pleaded guilty to two counts of violating federal narcotics laws in the Western District of Pennsylvania.

The charges against Felix stem from a conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine, a Schedule II controlled substance, from July 25, 2023, to August 30, 2023. On August 30, 2023, Felix also possessed with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine.

Under the law, Felix could face a maximum sentence of not less than 10 years in prison, a fine of up to $10 million, or both. The actual sentence imposed will be based on the seriousness of the offenses and Felix’s prior criminal history, if any.

Senior United States District Judge Nora Barry Fischer scheduled sentencing for August 6, 2025. The court ordered that Felix remain detained pending sentencing.

Assistant United States Attorney Katherine C. Jordan is prosecuting the case on behalf of the government. The Drug Enforcement Administration conducted the investigation that led to Felix’s prosecution.

This prosecution is part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) investigation, which uses a prosecutor-led, intelligence-driven, multi-agency approach to target high-level drug traffickers and dismantle their networks.

Felix’s case highlights the ongoing efforts to combat cocaine trafficking and dismantle the organizations responsible for distributing this deadly substance.
