A high-stakes gambling ring in Fort Wayne, Indiana is busted, with eight defendants facing federal charges for running an illegal gambling business.
The alleged ringleaders, including Rodney L. Naylor and Bruce Naylor, brother and brother-in-law, allegedly profited handsomely from their operation, which was uncovered after an investigation by the FBI, Indiana Gaming Commission, Indiana State Police, and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
Prosecutors say the defendants conducted, financed, managed, supervised, directed, and owned the illegal business, which they claim operated in direct violation of federal law.
While an indictment is not evidence of guilt, the defendants are facing serious charges, and the public is being reminded that they are presumed innocent until proven otherwise.
