A ruthless illegal gambling operation in northwest Indiana, known as Porterhouse Parlay, has been busted with 22 defendants charged, including notorious gambler James L. Gerodemos, aka ‘Jimmy the Greek.’
According to a 28-count indictment unsealed on April 29, 2026, the organization used threats and intimidation to collect on debts, and laundered cash through local businesses.
Gerodemos, along with his brother Chris and 19 others, allegedly ran the operation from January 2021 to April 2026, using online platforms and two northern Indiana businesses.
U.S. Attorney Adam L. Mildred warned that the investigation is ongoing, and encouraged victims or those with information to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.
