Zuni Man Pleads Guilty to Assault in New Mexico

A vicious assault in Zuni, New Mexico has resulted in a guilty plea from Christopher Hannaweeke, Sr., 49, an enrolled member of the Pueblo of Zuni.

According to court documents, on February 25, 2023, Hannaweeke kicked John Doe in the head and body, leaving the victim with fractures to his face, extreme physical pain, and a lengthy hospital stay.
