Two Lawton residents, Jackie Antonio Duncan, 35, and Nia Hall, 30, are facing life-altering charges in connection with a horrific child sex trafficking operation.
According to a federal indictment, Duncan and Hall engaged in a sinister plot to traffic two juveniles, both of whom had run away from a local group home in May 2024. The pair allegedly approached the teenagers at a gas station, luring them into a life of exploitation and abuse.
Prosecutors allege that Duncan and Hall transported the juveniles to various cities in Texas, where they were forced to perform sex acts in exchange for food and shelter. The pair would then pocket the money earned by the victims, leaving them vulnerable and helpless.
The investigation, which involved multiple law enforcement agencies, led to the recovery of the second juvenile in San Antonio, Texas, on September 30, 2024. The victim’s harrowing account of their ordeal corroborated the first juvenile’s story, painting a disturbing picture of a well-orchestrated sex trafficking ring.
Duncan and Hall were arrested on December 16, 2024. A federal grand jury subsequently returned a three-count indictment against the pair, charging them with sex trafficking of children, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking.
If found guilty, Duncan and Hall face up to life in federal prison and fines of up to $250,000 on each count. However, as the indictment notes, these charges are merely allegations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
The case is a result of an exhaustive investigation by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Lawton Police Department, Choctaw Nation Lighthorse Police Department, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics & Dangerous Drugs Control, Fort Smith Police Department, Arkansas State Police, San Antonio Police Department, Plano Police Department, and Fort Worth Police Department.
Assistant U.S. Attorneys Jordan Ganz and Brandon Hale are prosecuting the case. For additional information, please consult public filings.
The public is urged to remain vigilant in the face of such heinous crimes. If you or someone you know is a victim of sex trafficking, seek help immediately by contacting the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888 or texting ‘HELP’ to 233733.
