Ramey Joe-Dawn Dill Sentenced for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender

Tulsa, OK – In a shocking turn of events, Ramey Joe-Dawn Dill, a 38-year-old man from Ochelata, Oklahoma, has been sentenced to 24 months imprisonment for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender. This is not Dill’s first brush with the law, as his criminal history includes 15 convictions over the last 19 years.

According to court records, Dill was convicted of second-degree rape in 2007 in State court and was sentenced to 12 years, with 9 years being suspended. As a result, he was required to register as a sex offender. However, Dill has a history of failing to comply with this requirement, including a previous conviction in 2023 for the same offense.

In 2025, after being released from prison, Dill failed again to keep his address up to date with the sex offender registry. This led to his latest conviction and subsequent sentencing. Dill has also used several aliases over the years, including Ramey Joedon Dill and Ramey Joe-Don Dill.

The United States Marshal Service investigated the case, and Assistant U.S. Attorneys Michele Hulgaard and Charles Greenough prosecuted the case. This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.

Dill will remain in custody pending transfer to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons and is still required to register as a sex offender.
