A 46-year-old Jamestown woman was sentenced to time served for possessing a stash of methamphetamine, recovered by cops during a traffic stop in October 2024.
Kelly Berenguer’s vehicle was pulled over by Jamestown Police on October 17, 2024, and a search turned up a quantity of meth and a digital scale.
The bust was part of a nationwide initiative to take down cartels and transnational crime groups.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Joshua A. Violanti prosecuted the case, which was investigated by the Jamestown Police Department, DEA, and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
