Jarrud Michael Dixon, Falsifying Firearms Dealer Records, West Virginia 2014
A 29-year-old New Market, Maryland man has been sentenced to one year of probation for falsifying a firearms transaction record in West Virginia.
Jarrud Michael Dixon, of New Market, Maryland, made a false statement on a firearms transaction record to purchase a .223 caliber pistol and an A-15 assault rifle in March 2014. He pled guilty to one count of ‘False Statement in Firearms Dealer Records’ in February 2016.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen D. Warner on behalf of the government. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives investigated the matter.
U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey presided over the case.
