Jena Marie Osborn, Methamphetamine Trafficking, Texas 2023

A 35-year-old Jacksonville woman has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for trafficking methamphetamine, officials announced.

Jena Marie Osborn, a multi-convicted felon, will spend 240 months in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine after completion of her state sentence. Osborn is currently serving a state prison sentence for possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the Department of Justice, USAO, Osborn was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The charges were brought after an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the Jacksonville Police Department.

Osborn’s conviction marks the latest in a long history of run-ins with the law. She has multiple prior convictions, including possession of drug paraphernalia, which earned her a state prison sentence.

U.S. Attorney [removed for anonymity] praised the law enforcement agencies involved in the investigation, saying, ‘The conviction of Jena Marie Osborn sends a strong message that we will not tolerate the trafficking of methamphetamine in our communities.’

The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge [removed for anonymity]. Osborn will begin serving her federal sentence upon completion of her state sentence.
