Jeremy Gildroy, Attempted Murder, Arkansas 2022

An Umatilla County man pleaded guilty yesterday on the second day of trial to attempted murder, robbery, and felon in possession of a firearm (Armed Career Criminal Act) related to an armed robbery of the Wildhorse Resort and Casino on the Umatilla Indian Reservation in 2022.

According to the DOJ USAO, Jeremy Gildroy, 39, of Umatilla County, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted murder, one count of robbery, and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The armed robbery occurred on the Umatilla Indian Reservation in 2022. Details surrounding the crime have not been released to the public.

Jeremy Gildroy is set to be sentenced on April 18, 2024, and faces up to 20 years in prison for the attempted murder charge, 10 years for the robbery charge, and a mandatory minimum of 15 years for the felon in possession of a firearm charge.

Gildroy’s sentencing will be determined by the court based on the severity of the crimes and his prior convictions.

The DOJ USAO praised the work of local law enforcement in bringing Gildroy to justice, stating that ‘the safety of our communities relies on the bravery and dedication of our law enforcement officers.’

Gildroy is currently being held without bail pending his sentencing.
