Jeryn Big Eagle, 37, Charged with Assault in South Dakota
A Dupree man has been accused of a serious crime after a federal grand jury indicted him on assault charges. According to investigators, Jeryn Big Eagle, 37, assaulted someone with a dangerous weapon, causing serious bodily injury.
The incident, which allegedly occurred in Dupree, South Dakota, has left the community shaken. The Cheyenne River Law Enforcement Services is leading the investigation, which has been ongoing since May 15, 2013. Assistant U.S. Attorney Troy R. Morley is responsible for prosecuting the case.
