Cocaine Kingpin Sentenced to 60 Months in Prison

Kaylor Brown, a 31-year-old resident of Warren, Ohio, was sentenced to 60 months in prison for conspiring to distribute at least 500 grams of cocaine. The crime occurred between January 2020 and January 2021, while Brown was serving a federal prison sentence for a prior cocaine trafficking crime.

United States Attorney Eric G. Olshan announced the sentencing in a press release. Brown was convicted of conspiring to distribute at least 500 grams of cocaine and was sentenced by United States District Judge Marilyn J. Horan.

Brown’s 60-month federal prison sentence will be served consecutively to the federal prison sentence he was serving at the time he committed the crime. He must also serve four years of supervised release following his prison sentence.

Assistant United States Attorney Craig W. Haller prosecuted the case on behalf of the United States. The investigation that led to Brown’s conviction and sentencing was a joint effort between the Farrell Police Department, the Mercer Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, and the federal Bureau of Prisons.

Kaylor Brown was sentenced in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. The crime for which Brown was sentenced occurred between January 2020 and January 2021.

Brown’s prior cocaine trafficking crime earned him a 70-month sentence in 2018 in the Eastern District of Michigan.
