Robber on the Loose in Florissant: 5 Businesses Victimized

In a shocking string of crimes, Kevin E. West Jr., 22, has been accused of robbing five stores and restaurants in Florissant, Missouri, since 2021. The Florissant Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) worked together to bring West to justice.

The indictment against West accuses him of robbing a Dollar Tree store on May 26, 2021, a different Dollar Tree on December 1, 2021, a Subway on January 2, 2022, a GameStop on January 5, and a second Subway on January 28, 2022.

West is facing five counts of robbery and two counts of possession and brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison for the robbery charges and seven years to life in prison for the gun charges.

The case against West is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Linda Lane. West is also facing robbery charges in St. Louis County Circuit Court.
