Counterfeiting Ring Busted: Lansdowne Man Charged
A Lansdowne man has been charged with counterfeiting after an investigation by the United States Secret Service, according to the United States Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Keith Scutching, 35, of Lansdowne, was charged by indictment yesterday with two counts of dealing in counterfeit currency. If convicted, Scutching faces a maximum possible sentence of 40 years in prison, a three-year period of supervised release, a $500,000 fine, a $200 special assessment, and the imposition of full restitution.
