MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – A Stilwell resident has been sentenced to 30 months of imprisonment and three years of supervised release for a federal firearm crime.
Lewis Reynaldi Cypress, age 39, of Stilwell, Oklahoma, was sentenced to 30 months of imprisonment and three years of supervised release for one count of Felon in Possession of Firearm and Ammunition by the Honorable Ronald A. White, Chief U.S. District Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
The charges arose from an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Stilwell Police Department. On August 6, 2024, Cypress pleaded guilty to the charge.

Cypress will remain in the custody of the U.S. Marshal pending transportation to a designated United States Bureau of Prisons facility to serve a non-paroleable sentence of incarceration. Assistant United States Attorney Michael E. Robinson represented the United States.
