A 29-year-old Melbourne man has been locked up for life after a sickening online scam in which he paid a caregiver in the Philippines to send him videos of her 7 and 12-year-old kids being abused.
Kasey James Caudill, 29, was caught after sending thousands of dollars to the caregiver via PayPal, which he used to fund the child sex abuse material.
The victims were both minors in the Philippines when Caudill coerced them into producing explicit content between August 10-12, 2024.
Homeland Security Investigations and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office tracked Caudill down and charged him in August 2024.
Caudill pleaded guilty in August 2025 and was sentenced to life in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Anne-Leigh Gaylord Moe.
