GREENEVILLE, TN – Spencer Allen Bradley, 33, of Atlanta, GA, is headed to federal prison for over 21 years. U.S. District Judge Ronnie Greer handed down a 262-month sentence on September 15, 2025, after Bradley pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a large-scale methamphetamine and cocaine trafficking operation based in Johnson City, Tennessee. He’ll also face five years of supervised release after serving his time.
The bust, a coordinated effort between the Johnson City Police Department (JCPD), the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), FBI, DEA, ATF, and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), began in July 2020. Investigators uncovered a network distributing cocaine, crack cocaine, and methamphetamine throughout the Eastern District of Tennessee. Bradley wasn’t working alone. His brother, Camara Antonio Bradley, 25, along with Shannon Sherrell Bryant, 43, Montdail Maurice Brown, 41, Rachel Hunter Bowers, 33, Timothy Robert Malone, 37, Gabrielle Z’hane Greenlee, 28, Rashad Lorenzo Harrington, 27, James Earl Williams, 61, Dustin Matthew Wells, and Thomas James Dennis, Jr., 45, all of Johnson City, were implicated in the scheme.
The operation wasn’t just about pushing drugs. According to court documents, Bradley and Bowers, who were living together, were actively laundering the profits. They funneled $403,455 through shared financial accounts, using a business as a front to disguise the illegal funds. Investigators discovered that Williams’ residence served as a central hub for the organization, a base of operations for bringing in large quantities of narcotics. Wiretaps on Bradley’s phone further connected Harrington, Williams, and Greenlee as key players in the distribution network.
Law enforcement wasn’t relying on just phone calls. A September 2023 traffic stop in Loudon County, TN, yielded a significant haul: 4 pounds of methamphetamine intended for distribution, found in Greenlee’s possession. Cooperators and confidential informants also played a crucial role, facilitating controlled purchases of drugs directly from Bradley, his brother, and Williams. The evidence quickly mounted, solidifying the case against the entire organization.
Judge Greer has already sentenced several of Bradley’s co-conspirators. Montdail Brown received 228 months for drug conspiracy and a firearm charge (18 U.S.C. § 924(c)(1)(A)). Shannon Bryant got 170 months for the drug conspiracy. Gabrielle Greenlee received 60 months, as did Camara Bradley. Rachel Bowers was sentenced to 36 months for drug conspiracy and money laundering. Timothy Malone is facing 168 months, while Thomas Dennis, Jr., will serve 167. Dustin Wells received 66 months, and James Williams, 80 months.
With Bradley’s sentencing, authorities believe they’ve dismantled this significant drug trafficking ring. The case serves as a stark reminder that moving large quantities of narcotics and attempting to hide the profits won’t go unnoticed. The Eastern District of Tennessee, and the Grimy Times, will continue to monitor federal sentencing and bring you the details of those who attempt to poison our communities.
