Giang Tran, a 36-year-old from Webster, Massachusetts, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for distributing crystal methamphetamine. On three occasions, Tran delivered or arranged the delivery of approximately 1 kilogram of methamphetamine to undercover law enforcement in Everett and Worcester. The deliveries took place on January 2, 8, and 21, 2025, after a cooperating witness tipped off authorities about Tran’s involvement in the meth trade.

He was indicted on June 10, 2025, and faced charges for his role in the methamphetamine distribution ring. The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Samuel R. Feldman of the Narcotics & Money Laundering Unit.

Foley and Jarod A. Forget, Special Agent in Charge of the DEA’s New England Field Division, announced the sentence.
