Angel Ruiz, a 30-year-old from Gloversville, New York, has pleaded guilty to drug trafficking and firearms crimes. Between June 2020 and March 2021, Ruiz sold cocaine out of a co-defendant’s house, where he also stored multiple firearms to protect his operation. First Assistant United States Attorney John Sarcone praised the ATF’s work, saying that the community is safer today because of their efforts. Ruiz now faces the possibility of life in prison for his crimes, with sentencing scheduled for September 2, 2026.
