Dale Jackson, Fentanyl Distribution Conspiracy, Nebraska 2025

OMAHA, NEBRASKA – Dale Jackson, 19, of Omaha, is facing a long stretch behind bars after being sentenced on August 15, 2025, for his role in a dangerous fentanyl analogue distribution conspiracy. Chief United States District Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr., handed down a 120-month sentence on the conspiracy charge and a 70-month sentence on the distribution charge, to run concurrently – meaning Jackson won’t be eligible for parole. Following his release, he’ll be subject to a five-year term of supervised release.

The investigation, launched in 2024 by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, revealed Jackson and his associate, Latrell Knight, were sourcing “M-30” pills – notorious counterfeit pills frequently laced with fentanyl and its analogues – from a shared supplier. The duo then peddled these deadly pills to an undercover confidential source (CS) between April 17, 2024, and September 10, 2024. Transactions occurred brazenly outside Knight’s residence and at a Casey’s gas station located near 72nd and Grover streets in Omaha.

The operation wasn’t limited to pills. Knight upped the ante, selling the CS a DB9 9mm handgun on May 6th and a Glock 17 9mm handgun on July 11th. Jackson attempted to facilitate a $1,000 drug transaction between the CS and their supplier on July 11th, though the deal ultimately fell through. The pair repeatedly shorted the CS on their promised pill deliveries, twice failing to deliver the full 50 M-30 pills. In total, approximately 1,616 of the counterfeit pills were sold as part of the conspiracy.

A search warrant executed on December 30, 2024, yielded Jackson’s cellphones, which painted a damning picture. The contents revealed a clear pattern of fentanyl sales, detailing at least 84 additional M-30 pills sold separate from the buys made by the CS. Further evidence on the phones showed direct communication with the supplier, indicating ongoing efforts to secure more of the deadly pills. Both Jackson and Knight were arrested on January 23, 2025.

Knight, who pleaded guilty to drug conspiracy, drug distribution, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, is scheduled to be sentenced on September 25, 2025. This case is a key component of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), a comprehensive program designed to bring together law enforcement at all levels and community organizations to combat violent crime and gun violence.

United States Attorney Lesley A. Woods emphasized the importance of these efforts, stating the program focuses on building trust within communities, supporting violence prevention initiatives, prioritizing strategic enforcement, and meticulously measuring results. The investigation was a collaborative effort between the FBI and the Omaha Police Department, sending a clear message that those who profit from peddling poison will be held accountable.
