A massive methamphetamine bust in McMinnville, Oregon, has landed a local man in federal prison. John Billy Donnahoo, 52, was sentenced to 10 years behind bars for possessing over a pound of meth with intent to distribute.

On May 25, 2024, police executed a search warrant on Donnahoo’s residence and seized the massive haul of methamphetamine, along with multiple firearms, ammunition, digital scales, and $16,000 in cash.
Donnahoo was hit with multiple charges, but pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine on November 19, 2025. A federal grand jury in Portland had returned a multi-count indictment on July 16, 2024.
The investigation was a joint effort between the McMinnville Police Department and the DEA. Assistant U.S. Attorney Scott M. Kerin prosecuted the case.
