Former Punjabi Devils Motorcycle Club (PDMC) founder Jashanpreet Singh, 26, of Lodi, has been indicted by a federal grand jury for firearms offenses. Singh, who founded the Stockton-based outlaw motorcycle gang associated with the Hells Angels, is charged with unlawful dealing of firearms; unlawful possession of a machine gun; and possession of an unregistered short-barreled rifle.
According to court documents, on June 6, 2025, Singh attempted to sell weapons to an undercover officer. During this attempt, he offered a short-barreled rifle, three assault weapons, three machine gun conversion devices, and a revolver. A subsequent search of his residence uncovered more firearms, including two additional machine guns, a machine gun conversion device, and a silencer.
During the operation, law enforcement also discovered a ‘pineapple’ capped hand grenade and what appeared to be a military ‘claymore’ mine. These items were destroyed by the Explosives Ordinance Detail of the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department.
Singh was initially facing state charges in San Joaquin County, but he failed to appear at a court appearance on July 21, 2025, resulting in a bench warrant for his arrest. He was apprehended at San Francisco International Airport on July 23, 2025, before departing for India.
The investigation was conducted by multiple federal agencies, including the FBI, ATF, DEA, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Alex Cárdenas and Adrian Kinsella are prosecuting the case. Singh faces substantial penalties if convicted of these charges.
This case is part of Operation Take Back America and Project Safe Neighborhoods, initiatives aimed at reducing gun violence and protecting communities from criminal elements.
