In a hair-raising encounter, 30-year-old Quentin Hall of Valdosta pointed a loaded gun at a Moultrie police officer as he attempted to flee arrest on November 26, 2024.

As the officer chased after him, Hall tossed a bookbag and fell to the ground. Despite verbal commands to stay still, Hall pulled out a black handgun and pointed it at the officer, saying ‘go on’ before turning and running.
With a history of cocaine trafficking and gun possession, Hall pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine and one count of possession of a firearm in the furtherance of a drug trafficking crime on April 8, 2026. He faces a maximum life sentence with no parole.
