A Macon, GA neighborhood was treated like a retail storefront for cocaine, backed by an arsenal of firearms, according to authorities. Operation Mobile Order took down the violent drug trafficking organization led by Antonyo Daniels, aka Tony, a 31-year-old Warner Robins man.
Daniels pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances on January 8. He was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Marc Treadwell on April 2.
The operation was a collaborative effort between the FBI and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, which worked tirelessly to bring the organization to justice. The group’s reign of terror has been dismantled, making Central Georgia a safer place to live.
Operation Mobile Order sends a clear message that law enforcement at every level is focused on shutting down armed criminal groups threatening the safety of our communities, said U.S. Attorney William R. Keyes.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of our law enforcement partners, armed drug traffickers are being held accountable for their crimes with lengthy prison sentences.
