Lengsy Prum, a 39-year-old Cranston, Rhode Island man, pleaded guilty to his role in a conspiracy to distribute cocaine, MDMA, and ketamine in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The guilty plea came after Prum was caught distributing ketamine to undercover law enforcement on multiple occasions in the summer of 2024. The investigation led to the recovery of large quantities of narcotics, including six kilograms of ketamine, 6.6 kilograms of cocaine, and 4.2 kilograms of MDMA, from Prum’s residence in Cranston.
Prum’s dealings with undercover law enforcement began in June 2024, when he was identified as a Rhode Island-based distributor of the illicit substances. Over the course of three meetings, Prum personally delivered 3.2 kilograms of ketamine to the undercover agents in the parking lot of a home improvement store in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The transactions were part of a larger conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances.
The guilty plea sets the stage for Prum’s sentencing, which is scheduled for July 8, 2026. He faces up to 20 years in prison, at least three years of supervised release, and a fine of up to $1 million. The case was investigated by the DEA, HSI, and the Walpole Police Department, with valuable assistance from these agencies.
The prosecution of Lengsy Prum is part of the Homeland Security Task Force initiative, which aims to protect the American people from various threats, including drug trafficking. The case highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies to disrupt and dismantle narcotics distribution networks in the region.
