A 32-year-old Florida corrections officer has been handed a lengthy prison sentence for coercing a 16-year-old Long Island girl into producing sexually explicit child pornography and sending it to him under threat of exposure.
Robert Gallimore, a resident of Sebring, Florida, was sentenced to 144 months’ imprisonment for coercion and enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity by United States District Judge Joanna Seybert in federal court in Central Islip, New York, on today, 2018.
According to court filings, Gallimore caused the minor victim to repeatedly generate sexually explicit and masochistic child pornography of herself and to send it to him over the course of a week in 2018.
The victim was terrorized into producing child pornography at his direction, with Gallimore threatening to disseminate images and videos throughout her school if she did not comply.
Assistant United States Attorney Charles N. Rose is handling the prosecution of the case, which is being handled by the Office’s Long Island Criminal Division.
