Ronald Lee Juan, Jr., Abusive Sexual Contact with a Minor, Arizona 2022

A 27-year-old man from Sacaton, Arizona, has been sentenced to 17 years in prison for his role in Abusive Sexual Contact with a Minor. Ronald Lee Juan, Jr., an enrolled member of the Gila River Indian Community, was sentenced by United States District Judge John J. Tuchi to 204 months in prison, followed by lifetime supervised release.

Between September 22, 2017, and September 21, 2018, Juan engaged in sexual contact with the victim on multiple occasions. Juan pleaded guilty on June 9, 2022, to Abusive Sexual Contact with a Minor.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Gila River Police Department conducted the investigation in this case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Raynette Logan handled the prosecution.

The court case, CR-21-00885-PHX-JJT, was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Gila River Police Department. The U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Arizona, handled the prosecution.

Juan’s sentence marks a significant milestone in the case, which began with his guilty plea in June 2022. The sentence was handed down by Judge Tuchi on September 29, 2022.
