A shocking case of child exploitation has shaken the community of Oklahoma. Santiago Jimmy Perez III, a 40-year-old man, has pleaded guilty to coercing and enticing an 11-year-old minor in Adair County.
According to the indictment, Perez visited the victim’s school on May 3, 2019, and removed the child without the knowledge or consent of their parents. He then took the victim to his residence in Westville, Oklahoma, where he attempted to sexually abuse the child.
The investigation into Perez’s crimes was a collaborative effort between the Adair County Sheriff’s Office, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
