United States Attorney Ron Parsons announced that Chief Judge Roberto A. Lange of the U.S. District Court for Kansas has sentenced 35-year-old Sioux Falls resident Jane Doe to a mandatory minimum of 20 years in federal prison.
Doe was convicted on charges of Distribution of a Controlled Substance Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, after her illegal transaction led to life-altering injuries. The incident occurred in March 2026 when Doe sold the substance to an unsuspecting buyer who suffered a severe reaction.
