Firearm Trafficking Ring Busted in Wyoming

Williams, 26, of Lancaster, California, Tierra Holland, 33 of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Darwin Francisco Thomas, 33, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Dexter Alfred Thomas, 31, of Gardena, California, and Phillip Martin Flores, of Las Vegas, Nevada, face charges of conspiracy to make false statements during the purchase of firearms and to unlawfully transport and transfer firearms outside of the state of Wyoming.

The indictment alleges that the defendants engaged in a complex scheme to traffic firearms, violating federal laws and putting public safety at risk.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Timothy J. Forwood, with the support of the Federal Bureau of Investigation; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation; Laramie Police Department, and the Cheyenne Police Department.

The trial is set to begin on January 18, 2022, and is expected to last eight days.
