Two Wichita men, Adam Lee Osborn, 60, and Joaquin Hernandez, 24, have pleaded guilty to posting threats on social media to murder federal officials. In January 2026, Osborn posted threats to kill Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, while Hernandez threatened to shoot Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. The threats were made on their social media pages, with Osborn posting a photo of himself holding an AR-15 style rifle and a 30-round magazine.
