Three Polywood Crips Sentenced for Child Sex Trafficking, Texas 2016
Fort Worth, Texas — In a case that exposed the dark depths of human depravity, three members of the notorious Polywood Crips street gang were sentenced to lengthy prison terms for their roles in a child sex trafficking conspiracy.
U.S. District Judge Reed C. O’Connor handed down the sentences, which reflect the gravity of the crimes committed by Chad Johnson, a/k/a “Ocho Hood Fame,” 24, Deon Bonner, a/k/a “Spanish Fly,” 26, and Stanley Johnson, a/k/a “Pee Wee,” 24. According to court documents, the trio was part of a larger group that facilitated the commercial sex acts of several minor and adult females in Fort Worth between October 2013 and April 2016.
The investigation, led by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), revealed that the defendants acted as pimps for the girls and women they trafficked, instructing them on how much to charge and keeping the proceeds from transactions. They also provided the victims with condoms, cellular phones, and hotel rooms.
The scope of the conspiracy was shocking, with the group buying and selling the girls and women they were trafficking amongst themselves. To find potential customers, they placed advertisements on commercial websites, including Backpage.com, with the help of sisters Serrah Arnold and Jessica Arnold, who acted as “bottom girls.”
One particularly disturbing incident involved 17-year-old Jane Doe 2, who was taken to a motel by friends Deon Bonner and Stanley Johnson. Stanley Johnson told her he wanted her to engage in commercial sex acts and sought help from Audry Lane and Alvin Lane to post ads on Backpage.com. He also bought condoms for her and kept the money she made from engaging in sex acts.
Chad Johnson, who pleaded guilty to one count of sex trafficking of children in November 2016, was sentenced to 300 months in federal prison. Deon Bonner, who pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of children in November 2016, received a 360-month sentence. Stanley Johnson, who also pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of children in October 2016, was sentenced to 168 months in federal prison.
However, this is not the end of the story. Co-defendants Audry Lane, a/k/a “Spud,” 29, Diwone Nobles, a/k/a “Pooh,” 32, Katelyn Micelle Ward, a/k/a “KD,” 24, Jessica Arnold, 23, Serrah Arnold, a/k/a “Kristen,” 28, and Alvin Lane, a/k/a “Spank,” 32, have also pleaded guilty to various offenses relating to their roles in the conspiracy and are awaiting sentencing.
