WILLIAMSPORT, PA – A grim milestone in the ongoing battle against drug trafficking was reached as Sabeeh Daquan Goldwire, a 28-year-old from Upper Darby, was handed a 57-month sentence by Chief United States District Judge Matthew W. Brann for distributing methamphetamine.
Goldwire’s guilty plea on June 24, 2025, laid bare his seven sales of the illegal substance in Williamsport between February 28, 2024, and July 29, 2024. His actions were not isolated; they were part of a larger drug distribution ring that authorities cracked through relentless investigation.
The evidence against Goldwire was chilling – a FaceTime message where he boasted about bringing “ice,” the street name for meth, from Philadelphia to Williamsport. The proximity to public housing only added to the severity of his offense. Now, justice has been served with his sentence.
Leading the charge against Goldwire was the Federal Bureau of Investigation, with Assistant U.S. Attorney Robin Zenzinger prosecuting the case with unwavering determination. This sentencing is a testament to the effectiveness of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), which unites law enforcement and communities in their fight against violent crime and gun violence.
Launched on May 26, 2021, PSN has been strengthened by strategies focused on fostering trust in communities, supporting organizations that prevent violence, and setting clear enforcement priorities. Goldwire’s sentence is a clear signal that the program is delivering results.
This case serves as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by drug trafficking networks and the commitment of law enforcement to protect citizens from such threats. The grimy streets of Upper Darby have seen one less drug kingpin, but the war against illegal drugs continues with unyielding force.
