WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA – Justin Stephen Lombard, 22, of West Palm Beach, is facing a heavy punch of federal charges for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a machinegun. The grim indictment was announced by John P. Heekin, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida.
Lombard stood before United States Magistrate Judge Martin A. Fitzpatrick in Tallahassee on August 8, 2025, for his arraignment. His trial is set for September 22, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. before United States District Court Judge Mark E. Walker, where he faces up to 15 years’ imprisonment.
The investigation into Lombard’s alleged crimes has been led by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in conjunction with the Tallahassee Police Department. Assistant United States Attorney Joseph A. Ravelo is handling the prosecution.
It’s important to note that an indictment is merely a grand jury’s allegation of wrongdoing, not proof of guilt. Lombard maintains his innocence until proven otherwise in court.
This case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide effort to combat illegal immigration, eliminate cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and protect communities from violent crime.
