Baltimore Fentanyl Dealer Pleads Guilty to Trafficking
Robert Frazier, Jr., a/k/a “Glass,” age 42, of Baltimore, Maryland, has pleaded guilty to conspiring to possess with intent to distribute fentanyl, cocaine, and marijuana, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
Born and raised in Baltimore, Frazier’s crimes spanned the city’s streets, with law enforcement observing him selling drugs at various locations. In one instance, Frazier assaulted a Baltimore City Sheriff’s Office officer during an eviction attempt in September 2021.
Frazier’s illicit activities were uncovered after a search of his apartment revealed quantities of fentanyl and marijuana, along with two rifles, including a stolen AR-15 rifle, a digital scale, and cash. He was subsequently seen selling drugs at a different location, prompting law enforcement to make controlled purchases of fentanyl and cocaine from Frazier.
In total, the parties agree that Frazier distributed up to 160 grams of fentanyl, enough to kill 32,000 people. Frazier’s plea agreement includes forfeiting two high-power rifles, a handgun, and numerous rounds of ammunition.
U.S. District Judge Julie R. Rubin has scheduled sentencing for July 24, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Frazier faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. U.S. Attorney Erek L. Barron commended the DEA, the Baltimore City Sheriff’s Office, and the Baltimore Police Department for their work in the investigation.
Assistant United States Attorney Jason D. Medinger is prosecuting the case.
