A Baltimore man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for his role in a planned armed robbery of a drug dealer. Donte Wise, 30, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute cocaine, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.

According to court documents, Wise and his co-conspirators, including Joseph Brown, met with a confidential source and an ATF undercover officer to plan the robbery. They planned to steal up to seven kilograms of cocaine in exchange for half of the stolen goods.

Wise and Brown each threw away a loaded 9mm handgun, which were recovered, along with a .45 caliber handgun thrown on a roof by the third conspirator. A search also recovered black rubber gloves and a black balaclava from Wise and black rubber gloves and a black ski mask from Brown.
