Aaron Chase Sanders, a 28-year-old from Bixby, Oklahoma, was convicted of possessing over 220 images of child sexual abuse material, including an AI-generated video of a toddler engaging in explicit conduct. The conviction came after a 3-day trial in January 2026, following a report of possible child molestation. Sanders had been messaging a woman on Snapchat, discussing sexual acts involving a toddler, which prompted the woman to report him to the authorities. The investigation led to the discovery of Sanders’ disturbing collection of child sexual abuse material.
The case began when a Tulsa Police officer responded to a report of possible child molestation and spoke with the woman who had been messaging Sanders. The officer preserved the evidence and contacted a detective with the Bixby Police Department, who shared concerns for the well-being of children Sanders may have had access to. A search warrant was executed, and Sanders agreed to speak with the detective, downplaying his conversations as ‘fantasy’.
However, a search of Sanders’ cellphone revealed additional conversations with other women on a dating app, as well as the disturbing images and video of child sexual abuse material. The jury convicted Sanders of Possession of Child Pornography, and he now faces sentencing.
The conviction is a result of the collaborative efforts of the Tulsa Police Department and the Bixby Police Department, who worked together to investigate and bring Sanders to justice. The case highlights the importance of reporting suspicious activity and the need for continued efforts to protect children from exploitation and abuse.
