Cainen Isaac Shephard Pleads Guilty to Assault with a Dangerous Weapon in Oklahoma
Muskogee, OKLAHOMA – In a shocking turn of events, Cainen Isaac Shephard, a 22-year-old resident of Okemah, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to assault with a dangerous weapon in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
The incident occurred on July 2, 2024 in Okfuskee County, within the boundaries of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Reservation. Shephard allegedly assaulted the victim with a dangerous weapon, leading to a felony charge.
The charges against Shephard arose from a joint investigation by the Okemah Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Shephard, who was remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshal Service pending sentencing, will undergo a presentence investigation report, as ordered by the Honorable Jason A. Robertson, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
