Toni Shnea Fourkiller, Stalking, OK, 2014

TONI SHNEA FOURKILLER, a 31-year-old resident of McAlester, Oklahoma, stood before the federal court in Muskogee this week, where she formally pleaded guilty to charges of Stalking, as per the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

According to court documents, Fourkiller’s crime dates back to March 23, 2014. The McAlester Police Department launched an investigation that led to her indictment in September of that year. The indictment accused Fourkiller of leaving Indian country with intent to harm another individual, resulting in the victim enduring serious bodily injury and substantial emotional distress.

The Honorable Kimberly E. West, a Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, presided over the plea hearing. She ordered the completion of a presentence report ahead of sentencing.

Should Fourkiller be sentenced within the statutory range, she could face up to 10 years in prison and/or a fine of $250,000. Assistant United States Attorney Chris Wilson represented the government in this case.

This conviction serves as a stark reminder of the serious consequences for those who engage in stalking and harassment in Oklahoma.

The grim saga of Toni Shnea Fourkiller’s guilty plea underscores the ongoing efforts by law enforcement and the judicial system to protect citizens from violent and menacing behavior.
