A convicted sex offender in Canton, Ohio, has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for a stash of child pornography.
Shane Stouffer, 46, was busted in 2025 after agents hunting CSAM on social media platforms found him. When they searched his pad, they found over 200 sick files depicting kids under 12 being raped and molested.
Stouffer’s got a long rap sheet – he was convicted of rape and Gross Sexual Imposition back in ’99, and again in 2014. His co-defendant, Daniel Dobies, also has a history of sex crimes and awaits sentencing.
The investigation was led by the FBI and Canton PD, with help from the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Stark County Sex Offender Registry.
