A Columbus man’s twisted obsession with tormenting his ex-girlfriends and creating AI-generated child porn has finally caught up with him. James Strahler II, 37, pleaded guilty to cyberstalking and producing obscene visual representations of child sexual abuse.
Between December 2024 and June 2025, Strahler sent harassing messages to at least six adult female victims, including nude images of himself and AI-generated depictions of them engaging in sex acts with their parents.
He threatened to circulate explicit images of their daughters if they didn’t comply with his demands for nude photos. Strahler’s twisted tactics also included leaving voicemails of himself masturbating or threatening rape.
The defendant used AI to create pornographic videos and images, including one depicting a victim’s daughter engaged in sex acts with her father. He distributed these videos to the victim’s co-workers.
