A Canton man’s twisted world of child pornography and exploitation came crashing down in February 2025 when Homeland Security Investigations received a tip from local law enforcement about his disgusting chats with a minor. In the basement of his Canton home, agents found a setup eerily designed to record the child, complete with a phone holder, external camera light, and sex toys.
Alam’s Google Drive account was also crawled by investigators, who uncovered a stash of child porn he’d uploaded himself. The 48-year-old’s sickening schemes are now set to land him in the slammer for 15 years minimum, courtesy of a guilty plea.
Alam’s sentencing is set for August 12, 2026. He’ll face Judge Linda V. Parker in Detroit federal court, where he’ll finally get the book thrown at him for his heinous crimes.
